| A Selective Pallet Rack is a rack system where loads or pallets can be stored side by side on multi-level shelves. The three basic components of the rack consists of upright frames, horizontal shelf beams, and shelf beam ties or pallet supports. Horizontal shelf beams are bolted to the upright frames to form a storage level which palletized or large unit loads are placed. The racks often are arranged in rows of one or more bays. Pallet rack is typically a 1 pallet deep row, but can be double deep of the forklift can handle 2 pallets at once. |  |
